Introduction of the Selection Committee and Accepted Works in the Second Stage of the “New Genres of Performance” Section of the 44th International Fajr Theater Festival
Seyed Vahid Fakhr Mousavi, the secretary of the 44th International Fajr Theater Festival, has appointed Shiva Masoudi, Amir Rad, and Farshad Yari as the selection committee members for the “New Genres of Performance” section of this year’s festival.
After reviewing 82 theatrical works submitted to the festival secretariat, the selection committee introduced 10 works to the final stage of this section. Of these, 6 works are from Tehran, and 4 are from other cities in the country.
According to this report, the names of the 10 selected works, in alphabetical order, are as follows:
- Zero Archive / Sadegh Khatampour / Khuzestan (Behbahan)
- Arsi / Idris Aghaabdollahi / Tehran
- Best Before Time / Sheida Rezvaniyan / Tehran
- 24 Minutes and 33 Seconds / Reza Ghayour / Tehran
- Lost Performance / Ehsan Dabir / Khorasan Razavi (Mashhad)
- Sound History / Seyed Saeed Hashemi Zadeh / Tehran
- Three Separate Works / Mir Mohammadreza Heidari / Tehran (Damavand)
- Duet of Out-of-Tune Instruments / Alireza Amin Mozafari / East Azerbaijan (Tabriz)
- H T L / Marjan Agha Noori / Tehran
- H2O / Omid Akbari / Tehran
The creators of these works must send their complete pieces to the festival secretariat by December 24th for final selection.
The 44th International Fajr Theater Festival, under the leadership of Vahid Fakhr Mousavi, will be held in Tehran this February.
