The Hasselblad Masters competition aims to discover outstanding talent in photography genres such as portrait, architecture, nature, and fine art, offering an ideal platform for professional growth and recognition.
According to Gallery Online, the final winners will not only receive prizes but also be recognized as brand ambassadors, with their work published in the annual Hasselblad Masters book and showcased in international exhibitions.
Eligibility
- Open to all professional photographers worldwide with a minimum of three years of experience, as well as emerging talents under 21.
- No restriction on camera brand (except mobile phones, drones, and tablets).
- Submissions that have previously won awards in Hasselblad Masters or other photography competitions are not eligible.
Competition Categories
Participants may submit to one or more of the following seven categories:
- Landscape
- Architecture
- Portrait
- Street
- Fine Art
- Wildlife
- Under-21 Category – no restriction on subject matter
Submission Guidelines
- Submit a cohesive series of 3 images that reflect the category theme, with visual or thematic consistency.
- File format: JPG or JPEG, maximum 10 MB per image
- Dimensions: Maximum 6000 pixels on the longest side, minimum 1000 pixels on the shortest side
- Quality: High-resolution, without watermarks or signatures
- Optional: A short description of the submitted series
Prizes
- Hasselblad X2D II 100C camera with two XCD lenses of the winner’s choice
- €5,000 Creative Fund to support personal photography projects
- Official “Hasselblad Master” title and collaboration in future company projects
- Publication in the Masters Book and international exhibitions
