Iranian Artist Shirin Mohseni-Nasab at Italy’s “Temple of Dreams” Exhibition

Iranian artist Shirin Mohseni-Nasab is participating in the international exhibition “Le Temple des Rêves” (Temple of Dreams) in Lecce, Italy, with her work “Hands.”

According to Mehr News Agency, Mohseni-Nasab’s piece is featured in the section “Rebellious Children,” which focuses on the human condition, ephemeral transformations, and the impermanence of matter.

The exhibition, centered on contemporary art with an interdisciplinary approach, runs from December 5 to 19, 2025 (14–28 Azar 1404) at the Palmieri Foundation in Lecce, Italy. It is organized by Galerie Near View and displayed within the historic Palmieri Foundation building, a Gothic and Renaissance-era landmark in Lecce.

At “Temple of Dreams,” works by 27 international artists are presented across underground art, neo-surrealism, Art Brut, pop art, and fantasy art, exploring the boundaries between reality, imagination, and surrealism. Mohseni-Nasab, active in contemporary expressionism, contributes her piece “Hands” to this collection.

Doris Sacogna, curator and artistic advisor, said in a statement:
“Judging a work born from an artist’s creative mind is never easy, especially when the pieces are so beautiful. Each work held a special place in the hearts of the jury. This exhibition offers a multi-layered experience of art, performance, music, and moving images, transforming the historic venue into a unique and interactive space. The works on display—including paintings, sculptures, video art, and unique artistic objects—immerse visitors in a comprehensive contemporary art experience.”

The exhibition is open to the public daily from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, while morning visits are available by prior arrangement only.

Mohseni-Nasab shares the exhibition with 26 artists from around the world, including Maria Yeikoulenia, Maria Liouvilnie Imperial Martinelli, Sara McKenzie, Lark Pilinski, Victoria Williamson, Marco Riha, George Sirakis, Tatiana Yartsova, and Franca Zi. Her works are also featured on the international platform Artsper (France) and are available for sale.
