Mohammad Hossein Esmaeili announced that, considering the deadline for submitting provincial teams to the National Art Olympiad Secretariat on February 20, 2026 (1st of Esfand 1404), provincial executive committees must plan their schedules to ensure that all stages of the provincial process are completed according to the Olympiad guidelines by the announced dates.
Speaking to Gallery Online, Esmaeili noted that the registration process and provincial stages for the Second National Art Olympiad are proceeding smoothly across all provinces, thanks to ongoing coordination and efforts.
Registration Deadline
The deadline for participant registration is set for February 10, 2026 (10th of Bahman 1404). Since provincial teams must be announced to the national secretariat by February 20, provincial committees are required to organize all steps—including submission of works, provincial-level judging, and team selection—strictly according to the Olympiad regulations and through the official online system.
Provincial Judging Process
Esmaeili explained that:
- Complete information for each team is registered by the school or art high school director on the Olympiad platform at olympiart.ir.
- Each team’s submissions are uploaded to the system following the instructions for each category.
- Provincial jurors review and score each student’s work. The sum of the scores for all members determines the team’s total score in each category.
- Teams are selected for the next stage based on their total scores, and provincial winners are then forwarded to the national stage by the provincial jury.
