International Competition for the Design of Iran’s Pavilion at Expo 2027 Belgrade
Iran will participate in Expo 2027 Belgrade under the theme “Playing Together,” introducing indigenous games like Polo, Backgammon, and traditional Persian sports in a contemporary context.
pavilion will reflect recent urban entertainment transformations through a smart, human-centered, and experience-driven approach. The pavilion will convey a message of global peace through play, highlighting play as a shared human capacity. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s International Exhibitions Company will also organize an architectural competition for the design of this pavilion.

Competition Phases
The first phase of the competition is the call for entries and registration, during which participants will submit the required documents as per the instructions. After the submission deadline, the organizer will conduct an initial evaluation and announce the list of eligible participants. A briefing session will then be held, and participants will submit their designs by the specified deadline. Judging will then begin.
Prizes:
The competition prizes include cash rewards for the top three positions, honorary certificates for successful participants, and the opportunity for the winning designs to be executed by the organizing body. Additionally, the selected works will be displayed at a specialized exhibition and published in the competition booklet. These opportunities aim to honor the artistic and technical creativity of participants and create potential future collaborations on similar projects.

- 4th Place: 600 million IRR
- 5th Place: 400 million IRR
- 6th to 10th Place: 200 million IRR
